Turn Signal Indicators
What it means
Two green arrows that flash when you signal left or right, or together when the hazard lights are on. If the flashing becomes faster than usual, a signal bulb on that side has most likely burned out.
Symptoms4
- The arrow flashes on the turning side with a ticking sound.
- Both arrows flash together with the hazards on.
- Very fast flashing on one side.
- The arrow does not flash or stays solid.
Possible causes4
- Normal use of the indicator or hazard lights.
- A burned out signal bulb at the front, rear or mirror.
- A failed signal fuse or flasher relay.
- Replacement bulbs with a different wattage from the original.
How to diagnose and fix4
- Signal well before every turn or lane change.
- If flashing is fast, check the outside signal bulbs on that side.
- Replace the failed bulb with one of the same specification.
- Check the fuse and relay if the signals do not work at all.
