Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction
What it means
The computer is not receiving a vehicle speed signal, or the signal is implausible. The speedometer, transmission, cruise control and sometimes the anti-lock brake system use this signal, so several symptoms can appear together.

- Harsh or mistimed transmission shifts.
